Recent Dreams

I've had horrible nightmares lately. It's not that something bad happens in the dreams. It's not like that. It's just that.. my surroundings seem to frighten me. Most of the things that happen are for some reason considered as a threat. Tiny fairies? Lovely. No wait.. Killer fairies? Not that good. Taking care of a friend's infant? Not a big deal. Massive earthquake? Everybody dies and I can't help the baby.

I don't know what's wrong at the moment. I usually never have nightmares - and if I do they occur once every couple of months. But the last four nights have been horrible. I don't get to sleep properly so I'm tired during the day and get headaches. I just want it to end. Actually I just want to go on vacation - go somewhere nice and warm where I won't dream about horrible stuff.

That Special Picture

I've got this one picture with a couple of friends and it's just fantastic. We're sitting on a bench, the 6 of us, while another friend is taking the picture. I've tried to draw it. It might sound silly but it captures the moment perfectly and I'm pretty sure it'll sum up this first year for me. Such good times. The picture is so well balanced, the colours are great and I can't actually really describe it to anyone without feeling that I haven't done the picture justice. We're all so relaxed and happy in that moment. I just wish that we had gotten some stranger to take the picture - that way my 7th friend would have been able to be in it too. He's the only thing that's missing from it. I'll always love that photo.

This Week

I should warn whoever actually reads this blog (I'm guessing it's only me ehehe) that I'll be posting loads during the next week. Sorry about the massive spam-attack. I'll try and constrain myself.

Hawaii Five-0: Alex O'Loughlin

OH MAN, LET ME JUST HAVE ANY OF THESE TWO STUDS! I'LL DO ANYTHING!

Another Series: Hawaii Five-0

I've gotten another TV series addiction the last month: Hawaii Five-0 (H50). It's brilliant. I've fallen in love with Alex O'loughlin all over again. After watching him in "Moonlight" I didn't think he could get better. I was very wrong, he is amazing in H50. And if I may add - hot! The man is a God. Oh and I've been introduced to adorable Scott Caan through the series. His character is amazing, the one-liners that come out of that man's mouth! The chemistry between the entire cast is just .. uh, fantastic. Just what TV needs right now. I'd love it if Steve McGarrett and Danny "Danno" Williams got it going on, I must say. They're like a married couple. Chances of that happening on the show isn't very likely though. The writers/producers wouldn't take such a risk of losing viewers. It is an American show after all. I guess I'll have to wait and seee what happens in season 2, premiering in September. There's a whole summer ahead before we'll get there.

On a small sidenote - I've now watched every possible episode of all the TV series I follow. They've all either aired their series or season finale and now I have nothing to entertain me. I'm not up to date with Hawaii Five-0, Supernatural, Smallville (series finale - never seeing a new episode ever again), Glee, Mr. Sunshine, Moonlight, The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Misfits, Gossip Girl, Cougar Town and White Collar. What am I supposed to doooo now.. It happens every year: the summer is series free. I always get used to it and when I've finally created a routine of not watching anything it's September and they all start over again. But then again.. I am a bit of a series-freak. Think about it - I've watched every single episode of 12 shows. And I haven't included stuff I watch on TV for fun whenever I zap by (NCIS, CSI, Friends and a ton of talent shows). Mannn, and then people wonder why I love my series and films: THERE'S SO MUCH GOOD STUFF OUT THERE!

Year One: Over

I'm going home tomorrow morning. First year over. How odd. I can't get used to it. I lived here for a year and tomorrow I'll be leaving. I'll be back in 3 months but it won't be exactly "here". I know that doesnt make much sense but I know what I mean haha. It'll be nice to come back to friends at home but I also look forward to September. Time passes and we all grow up. But I like everything at the moment so it's all good. Summer's coming soon (it may be June now but it doesnt feel like summer) and I'll spend ages on the beach and in the sun. I look forward to this summer. Talk soon.
