82nd Academy Awards
Below you can see Penélope Cruz, Miley Cyrus, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Kristen Stewart. I should just say that if I post something it's because I like the dress and not necessarily the actress. I'm for instance not a huge fan of Miley Cyrus (mildly put) but I liked her creme-golden outfit. Penélope Cruz's is adorable and the motion in the dress is wonderful. Miley's is pretty too, but I liked the lower part more than the upper. It somehow makes her look way too skinny and unnatural. Maggie Gyllenhaal explained that her dress reminded her of spring. I agree, the colours are beautiful. My absolute favourite is probably Kristen Stewart's. That look can't be described in words, it's perfection.

Oh, I love the Oscars. ♥

Helloooo white fashion

I like the idea that white is the new black. It's so much lighter (although I'm a big fan of black style), summer'y and .. I'd say free spirited but I don't believe clothes can be free spirited, haha.
If you're not a huge fan of white take a look at the colour trends we will have in 2010 in general: http://www.fashionising.com/trends/b--Interfileres-Colour-Trends-SpringSummer-2010-1976.html. They might give you some inspiration. Noone says it has to be pure white (though I would recommend staying away from the "young shoot" and "Indigo" colour).
Mix it up, have fun with the trendy colours. I'll be looking forward to seeing a lot of white, nuances of red, soft and refined pinks, mauves and neutrals in full evolution.

Could It Be..
Another Love Of Mine

All I know is that this wonderful shoe, seen in the picture above, is the most magnificent shoe from Karen Millen I have ever seen. And I've seen quite a few. I would probably never wear it but even the idea of not owning it hurts. It can be found in any Karen Millen shop or on their website (http://www.karenmillen.com/search?keywords=leopard), style code FJ039. I wish I had £150, €210 or $150.
Karen Millen has also used this enchanting leopard pattern to launch these new items:
I must admit that these look pretty good too. They are all 100% leather. The first is a cute purse (style code GJ071). I wouldn't mind adding one of those to my collection haha. The price is £60, €85 or $108.
Next up is Karen Millen's belt (style code IJ022). I'm not sure how comfortable that chain belt is to wear and I doubt it's a huge hit. Would be fun to be proven wrong though. The price is approximately the same as the purse's.
The third item is a "leopard print faux pony clutch bag with detachable chain" (style code GJ108). I have got to admit one thing here.. I wouldn't buy it. It seems the size of the clutch is wrong, way too square, and although the tassel detailing is in at the moment it comes across exceptionally big compared to the small bag. Furthermore, the designer added the chain, resulting in an all in all messy and too confusing accessory. As you can hear I'm not a big fan. Keep it simple and classy, Mrs. Millen. I'm sure some people love it. Otherwise they wouldn't have produced it. The price for the clutch bag is £120, €170 or $200.
The next item is probably my favourite apart from the first shoe (style code GJo37). And not surprisingly it's also the most expensive. It's a "leopard print faux pony bag with chain handle and patent tassel trims and new custom made branded metalwork". I could stare at it all day.. Oh, well. There's not so much to say except that I love it. It is simple, lovely details, great pattern (I do have a soft spot for animal prints as I believe you guessed), classy but still kind of tough with the chain handle and not too big. This is how I define a part accessory. You can find it on the website for £165, €240, $304.
Last up is the other version of the leopard shoe (style code FJ026). The heel height is approximately 11.5cm (the first one was 11cm). I have to admit that Karen Millen did a good job with this shoe too. It's elegant and fits the current "gladiator meets high heels" fashion. It's a bit cheaper than the first shoe I showed you but I bet it would go perfectly with a sexy black / white / grey / brown / blue-coloured dress or outfit. This too can be found in any Karen Millen shop or on their website for the price of £135, €185 or $225.The pattern is perfection, the material is soft and anyone who can afford any of the items above should consider adding these to their wardrobe, shoe, accessory or bag collection. All in all it's a killer.
